Lou Zoanetti

Founder and Director

When it comes to developing graduate and internship programs, there are few as experienced as Brightworks’ own, Lou Zoanetti.

Lou has been deep diving in the graduate and internship world for over a decade. Creating innovative ways to connect the right students with the right organisations, Lou brings a strategic, experienced and informed perspective to her work.

Lou discovered her talent for early careers whilst managing NAB’s Enterprise Graduate Program. In this end-to-end role, Lou oversaw the recruitment, onboarding, and development of 125 graduates each year across 13 business streams.

In 2016, Lou took her skillset to the university sector and joined Monash University as the Associate Director for Internships and Industry Engagement. In this role, Lou established the first centrally-managed Work Integrated Learning program in Australia. This enabled her and her team to seamlessly engage with thousands of employers, placing over 3000 interns per year for 6 separate faculties of the University.

Lou’s consistently high standards in ethics and performance and her bank of knowledge, and enthusiasm for early career development led to the creation of Brightworks in 2019 (formerly known as Zoanetti Consulting).

Through her consultancy, Lou is passionate about helping organisations create innovative and engaging graduate and internship programs that capture the very best in emerging talent and drive business results.
